Peggy Olson
(Elizabeth Moss )
Peggy is a neophyte to office politics and the latest addition to the steno pool as Don Draper's assistant. Peggy's naiveté and willingness to learn the ropes at her new job may create more problems than she's willing - or capable of - handling. But like everyone else at the Sterling Cooper Agency, she's ambitious and driven to succeed.
Moss, nominated for her work in the indie film Virgin (2003), has appeared in several critically-acclaimed films, including Girl, Interrupted and Mumford. TV-wise, Moss has appeared in Invasion and The West Wing.
Salvatore Romano
(Bryan Batt )
Bryan is the art director at the dynamic Sterling Cooper Advertising Agency. Of Italian descent, Salvatore tries to be "one of the guys" in the predominantly WASPy corporate structure. But Salvatore is used to hiding, or at least masking the truth, in order to fit in and succeed on Madison Avenue.
Batt, a Broadway actor and designer, has starred in such hits as Sunset Blvd. and Cats.
Betty Draper
(January Jones )
Betty is a suburban wife to Don Draper, and mother to their two children. As with many women of this post-Second World War era, Betty is a "proper" housewife whose life, on the surface, belies the emotional undercurrents of her personal life.
Jones began her career as a model and most recently starred in 2006's We Are Marshall.
Rebecca Menken
(Maggie Siff )
Rachel is the head of her family-owned department store and seeking to hire an advertising agency. Upon meeting Sterling Cooper's creative director Don Draper, Rachel and Don have an immediate love/hate effect on each other. But their professional commonalities, more than their differences, may prove to be a successful merging of interests.
Bred in off-Broadway plays, Siff appeared in the recent plays Frank's Home and Ruby Sunrise, as well as appearing in episodes of Nip/Tuck.
Paul Kinsey
(Michael Gladis)
Paul is a copy writer at the Sterling Cooper Advertising Agency.
Michael Gladis has spent the past seven years in New York City, performing on stage, in film, and in episodes of Third Watch.
Bertram Cooper
(Robert Morse)
Bertram Cooper is the "Cooper" in the masthead of the Sterling Cooper Advertising Agency. Bertram is the founding partner of the agency he runs with Roger Sterling. Vying for the most lucrative accounts, the Sterling Cooper Agency runs the gamut of clients, from cigarettes to politicians.
Morse has won two Tony Awards: in 1962, as Best Actor for How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and in 1990 as Best Actor (Play) for Tru, a one-man show in which he played Truman Capote.
Ken Cosgrove
(Aaron Staton)
Ken is an account executive at the Sterling Cooper Advertising Agency.
Staton made his Broadway debut in Mamma Mia before starring in the film, The Nanny Diaries.
